Join us for our 11th annual Tunes for TARA, where you’ll have fun AND help us save the lives of homeless pets in our KC community. Tickets are $85 in advance ($100 at the door) and include:
- • musical performance by singer-songwriter and guitarist, Nicki White
- • unlimited wine and (of course) BOULEVARD beer!
- • yummy food
- • amazing silent auction items
- • raffle packages
- • doggie bag of goodies, including a commemorative pint glass
All proceeds benefit the dogs and cats served by The Animal Rescue Alliance!

Nicki White
We are absolutely thrilled to present Nicki White as our musical guest for this year’s event! Nicki White is a versatile and soulful singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Kansas City, MO. Blending elements of soul, blues, and Americana, her sound evokes comparisons to Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, and Bobbie Gentry. A genre-fluid artist, Nicki gained national recognition as Nicki Scruggs, a Hollywood contestant on American Idol Season 11.
She is an integral member of two dynamic bands. Flat Susan, an all-female supergroup, showcases her talents as a lead and harmony vocalist as well as a rhythm and lead guitarist. In The Village Prairie, an Americana country band preparing to release their second album, she contributes as a rhythm guitarist and harmony vocalist.
